Beach Wear

The right beach wear can make or break your vacation.  If you get where you are going only to figure out that your bikini doesn’t fit the way it used to, or that awesome new suit you never tried on is cut really weird, it could end up costing you quite a bit of money having to buy a new one at tourist prices.  In addition to fit, it is also important to get the right kind of swimwear for your vacation.  If you are going to spend most of your time laying on the beach working on your tan, you may want a different bikini than if you are planning to spend your time on jet skis or a surf board riding the waves.

Beach Wear

Luckily, a lot of beach wear today can be both practical and stylish.  Triangle cut tops, such as the one seen here, or other tops that tie around the neck will give you the most support.  Sweetheart or halter style tops with wider straps are perfect for lots of support with the added benefit of great cleavage, too.

If you are working on your tan and don’t want to worry about untying and retying strings, a simple bandeau top is a great strapless option.  Ladies, don’t be afraid to go strapless just because you think your chest is too big.  Try a strapless top a size smaller than you would normally wear, and you might be surprised just how secure everything feels.  The mistake a lot of women make with strapless tops is simply trying to wear one that is too big.

Your beach wear wouldn’t be complete without the bottom piece, and there are styles ranging from the tiny micro thong to the full cut bottoms and bikini skirts.  When it comes to picking the right one, don’t fall into the trap of thinking more coverage is more flattering.  You might be surprised how flattering a thong can be, and what better time to wear one than on vacation in a strange destination?
